Congrats to every citizen of Bangalore who stood up to the moral policing.

Every blog, activist, media, pink chaddi et al. Great job done.

I knew I needed to be more active but was too cynical to participate.
I certainly intend to rectify the shortcoming the next time around.

A lesson for everyone here (especially friends in Pakistan).

In response to threats of a right wing group at Bangalore proposing moral policing on Valentine's day.

If this fringe religious extremist is not nipped in the bud, it will become harder with each passing day. Just look at Pakistan to see what ignoring this leads to.

Write a blog, write to the paper, join a demonstration, sue them in court, join an NGO, fight for your rights now or else soon you may not be in a position or have the space to fight.

Whatever you do .......don't do nothing.
